Floorball, once a niche sport, is gaining a growing fan base in Poland. Thanks to its simple rules, inexpensive accessories and dynamic play, the sport is attracting young people in particular. It is appearing more and more often in P.E. lessons, and the number of clubs and tournaments – both local and national – is growing steadily.

Polish national teams regularly take part in world and European championships, and in 2022 Katowice hosted the U-19 Junior Women’s World Cup. Floorball is also appearing in the media and gaining support from sponsors. All indications are that its popularity will continue to grow – especially among the younger generation.
